This afternoon Gina & I decided to catch a window of opportunity between rain showers & some hail, and spent the afternoon by the river Thames, at Windsor.

The place was not as busy as one might expect for a bank holiday weekend, and even the swans had to make do with meagre offerings from the public.

This afternoon, Gina & I were invited to a surprise 60th birthday party, for my cousin Tony Kaufman. It was held at the Cock Inn, Sarratt, Hertfordshire.

Although Tony was the guest of honour, it was really great to see his mother, my aunt Jean there, along with most of the family.
