Went for a well deserved walk after getting through all (well most) of the packing cases, and came across this lovely old Jacobean House and small lake, just a stones throw from where we now live.

First, very happy birthday to Marc !!! – many happy returns of the day, from Mum, Dad , James & all the family.

Hi everyone!

Gina & I just got back from a week’s holiday in Gibraltar. We took a day trip to Tangier (Morocco, North Africa), where we saw everything from snake charming to listening to a small group of musicians whilst eating cous-cous in a restaurant in the Kazbah! Later in the holiday we did everything from a cable car trip up & down the “Rock”, seeing the local “Barbary Apes”, and visiting both St. Michael’s cave and the WW2 tunnels built by the Britsih Army. The place was full of very friendly people, from many backgrounds who all seem to live togther in perfect harmony – perhaps a lesson to us all! The shopping is tax free and many different types of places to eat.

Just a quick note to say that we have recently returned from our celebratory cruise to the Panama Canal. After a short 3 night “bolt-on” stay at Miami, Florida, we set sail with Royal Caribbean on their ship Brilliance of the Seas. Stops included Labadee (Haiti); Oranjestad (Aruba); Willemstad (Curacao); Christobal Pier (Panama) and Puerto Limon (Costa Rica). Many thanks to all those who sent us their good wishes before our trip.

Sunday 12th March 2006 saw the 28th Wedding Anniversary of Gina & Jonathan. We celebrated with a lovely night out at a local favourite restaurant the night before, and then had a small tea party at home with our sons Marc and James, joined by Simon and his kids, Scott and Alex. A very big THANK YOU for all those who sent us their good wishes!
