This morning we awoke to find a sprinkling of snow around our home – fortunately it all cleared up before my journey to work the next day.

This afternoon the Davis “clan”, or most of it, all got together to celebrate Scott’s 17th birthday.

Thursday 31st December 2015

This afternoon and evening, Gina & I went out to celebrate the end of 2015, and the beginning of 2016. We first went to Trafalgar Square, then saw a theatre production of “Mr Foote’s other leg”, followed by a very nice meal at a nearby restaurant.

Today we all got together for a Christmas day lunch. Despite me having cold, we all enjoyed a most delicious turkey lunch, served up by the cook, Gina.

This evening we invited our most immediate family out to a very nice local restaurant, to celebrate Gina’s 60th birthday.

After a most enjoyable meal, we all sang Gina a very happy birthday whilst the waiter brought out her birthday cake.

After leaving Fishbourne Roman Palace, we drove on to Langstone Quay, Chichester Harbour, Hampshire, for lunch. In the fourth picture, you can just see Portsmouth Spinnaker tower in the distance.

After staying overnight in Chichester for Helen’s 90th birthday party, Gina, Marc & I visited the nearby excavated Roman palace, at Fishbourne.

Today, after quite a long drive, we drove down to Chichester, West Sussex, to join in with the 90th birthday celebratory lunch for Gina’s aunt, Helen.

After the very nice Thai meal, all the family then met up at Helen’s home, in East Wittering, to carry on the celebrations with the cutting of the birthday cake.
